3. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

The Colony Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither material on this site nor results from a linked search tool are consumer reports, and neither may be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

4. Links to Outside Sites

Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, prices, or data practices.

5. No Warranties

This site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that material here is accurate, complete, or current, or that a linked portal will remain available or return correct results.

The original text, design, logo, and layout on this site are protected by copyright. You may link to a page and quote a brief excerpt with attribution, but may not republish full pages or systematically copy content.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision means acceptance.

10. Cutting Off Access

We may, without notice and at our discretion, block or restrict a user who violates these terms or misuses the site.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Access to existing records held by a Texas governmental body is addressed separately by the Texas Public Information Act, Tex. Gov’t Code chapter 552, including §§552.021, .221, .234, .2615, and .301. Those statutes do not make this private reference site a government custodian or alter the terms governing a linked office or court.

12. Severability

If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
